Buying or Selling a Saddle
Commission Structure
- Saddles follow our commission tiered commission based on price. Saddles priced over $1000 would receive an 80% commission payout.
Consignment Process
- Reach out to us a consign@triedequestrian.com to let us know you would like to consign a saddle.
- We will email you a prepaid shipping label and a consignment agreement with instructions how to properly package a saddle. We charge $50 against the sale of the saddle as reimbursement for the initial shipping to us.
- Package it up! You will be responsible for providing your own box and packaging material to ensure the saddle arrives to TTE safely. You will securely tape on the provided UPS shipping label and drop off at your local UPS store. UPS stores can also provide a "sleeve" to protect the paper shipping label in transit.
- Once your saddle arrives, TTE will create a listing, photograph and launch your saddle to our customers. You will receive a login to our Consignor Portal to view its' status in real time.
- Get Paid! You will receive payment one month delayed form the time the saddle sells to account for any returns.

Shipping
We offer free ground shipping on saddles in the United States We can expedite shipments to deliver in 1-2 days at market rates. International shipping is at market rates.
Returns
We offer a 5 day trial period for saddles from the date of delivery. Please email return requests to contact@triedequestrian.com if needed. We will provide a return shipping label and will deduct $120 for the initial shipping and return shipping expense from the purchase price refund. Please see our full return policy HERE. International return shipping would be the responsibility of the purchasing party.
Discounts
Saddles are excluded from all discounts unless specifically stated.
