Returns Policy

We offer a streamlined and easy return process so you can shop with confidence!


ACCEPTED RETURNS & RETURN WINDOW (excluding saddles)

The Tried Equestrian (TTE) gladly accept requests for a return within 2 weeks of the date of delivery to the customer. Return requests must be emailed to contact@triedequestrian.com. The item(s) must arrive back in the same condition sent with the initial tags attached. 

If you are requesting a return outside of this window, the item does not have original tags, has been damaged, or has excessive use no refund will be given. However, the item may be eligible for reconsignment. You can reach out to The Tried Equestrian at contact@triedequestrian.com for details.

RETURN OPTIONS (excluding saddles)

1. Refunded back to the payment used (Paypal, Quadpay or credit card) - a $10 return fee is applied to cover the return shipping expense if a Tried Equestrian provided prepaid return label is used.

2. Store Credit - Waived $10 fee for the return shipping label and we will email you a gift card (we put up 100's of items weekly so we're bound to get something in you'll love)!

3. Exchange - Waived $10 fee for return shipping. An invoice will be emailed for the price difference if the exchange is for a more expensive item and will be allowed one week to pay the difference. If unpaid, the order will be refunded back the way it was paid, less a $10 restocking fee. A gift card for the difference will be issued if the exchange is for a less expensive item. 

4. Issues - If your item did not arrive as expected, email us and we will work to resolve the situation in the most convenient way for you!

RETURN PROCESS (excluding saddles)

  1. Request a return by emailing contact@triedequestrian.com
  2. You will be emailed a prepaid return label and return form. You may also purchase your own shipping label at your expense.
  3. If you use the emailed prepaid shipping label, $10 will be deducted from your return when your item is processed to cover the cost of the return shipment. If you purchased your own shipping label, you will not be charged the $10. This fee is waived if you choose an exchange or store credit.

EXPECTED REFUND TIMES - Returns can take up to a week to be processed.

  1. Credit Card - Once processed, expect 1-5 business for the refund to be credited to your credit card account.
  2. Store Credit - Store Credit will be emailed same day the return is processed.
  3. Exchange - Any excess payment will be returned to the customer via store credit. If additional payment is needed on an exchange, an invoice will be emailed to the customer. The item(s) requested for exchange will be mailed the next business day after full payment is received.

ACCEPTED RETURNS & RETURN WINDOW FOR SADDLES

The Tried Equestrian offers a 5 day trial period for saddles from the date of delivery. Return requests must be emailed to TTE within the 5 day window. Return requests must be emailed to contact@triedequestrian.com. The saddle(s) must arrive back in the same condition sent with the initial tags attached.

If you are requesting a return outside of this window, the item does not have original tags, has been damaged, or has excessive signs of use no refund will be given. However, the item may be eligible for reconsignment. You can reach out to The Tried Equestrian at contact@triedequestrian.com for details.

RETURN PROCESS FOR SADDLES

  1. Request a return within 5 days by emailing contact@triedequestrian.com
  2. You will be emailed a prepaid return label and return form. You may also purchase your own shipping label at your expense.
  3. If you use the emailed prepaid shipping label, $50 will be deducted from your return when your item is processed to cover the cost of the return shipment. If you purchased your own shipping label, you will not be charged the $50.
