Condition and Pricing Criteria
A majority of our items on consignment here at TTE have been pre-loved, so we include a condition for each item in each listing! Here's what they mean:
New with tags: Brand new, with original tags. Please note some new with tags items may have some dust or marks from storage.
New without tags: Brand new, never worn, but missing original tags. Some new without tags items may also have been in manufacturer packaging without tags having ever been attached to the garment itself.
Excellent: An item that in essence, looks like new and has no notable flaws.
Great: An item that has a few small flaws, like a snag in the fabric or some light saddle staining. Items in great condition look great overall and are usually in show condition.
Good: An item that has a few notable flaws, like stretched out fabric or noticeable marks. Items in good condition are generally in schooling condition.
We work our hardest to make sure items are priced both fairly and competitively. We research all items and base our selling price on several things including:
- The original retail price of the item
- The current retail price of the item (i.e. is it now on clearance everywhere?)
- Condition of the item
- Brand, style, and current demand for the item
