Created especially for horse-loving girls ages 12 & Under, our Young Riders Equestrian Advent Calendar is a limited-edition holiday experience designed to be treasured long after December.
This year’s keepsake box features a special collaboration with celebrated equestrian artist Bettina Norton, transforming the calendar itself into a beautiful piece designed to be reused and enjoyed year-round.
Inside, 12 individual drawers are filled with surprises curated especially for young equestrians. From riding essentials and favorite equestrian brands to custom-made pieces created especially for the calendar, each day brings a new surprise and delight.
With only 25 calendars being produced, each box is part of an exceptionally limited holiday collection created for the next generation of equestrians.
Shipping: Calendars ship beginning in mid-November. Order early to secure one of only 25 available and have it ready for 12 days of equestrian surprises in December.
Please note: This item is non-refundable once shipped. The Tried Equestrian is proud to partner with The Plaid Horse, Bettina Norton and Helen Abrams of @lifeequestrian to fulfill this product. Due to the novelty of this collaboration and guidelines provided, we are unable to offer traditional Tried Equestrian discounts or free shipping.

Our Quality Standards
Each and every item we receive undergoes rigorous quality inspection before being listed. In addition to our standard quality check, select designer pieces are carefully inspected by trained staff for flaws and signs of counterfeit. The items we accept are sorted into the following conditions:
Brand new item, never worn or used, and still has the original retail tags attached.
Unused and in perfect condition, but missing the original retail tags. May have been tried on or stored.
ExcellentLooks and feels new. No visible signs of wear. Perfect condition, ready for its next ride.
GreatLightly loved with a few minor signs of wear that will be noted. Could include light wash wear or small imperfections that don’t affect performance or appearance.
GoodSome signs of wear that will be detailed in the description. Still fully functional and a great value for everyday use.
FairShows significant signs of wear that will be detailed in the description. May have cosmetic flaws or repairs, but remains functional and priced accordingly for its condition.

Shipping Information
We offer several different shipping options from USPS and UPS. Shipping rates are determined by weight and your location.
* Same Day Shipping for orders placed by 1pm. Later orders may be delayed to the following business day. Orders are not shipped over the weekend, please expect a 1-2 business day delay for orders placed after Friday afternoon.
Domestic Orders:
- Orders over $249 receive free shipping
- Orders under $249 are charged discounted market rates provided by each carrier.
- We cannot guarantee delivery dates, they are approximations
International Orders:
- Shipping Pries are calculated at checkout
- Duties and taxes are assessed by customs and are the responsibility of the customer
- International shipping rates are determined by weight and location
Please note for California residents:
- We only collect the CA tax rate of 7.25%. You are responsible to pay any district taxes or use taxes above 7.25% on the item. If you are located in Los Angeles county you are subject to an additional 2% charge for our district tax rate of 9.25%. Please see Regulation 1823.4.
Return Policy
Returns & Exchanges
We believe shopping secondhand should feel just as easy and trustworthy as shopping retail.
The Tried Equestrian gladly accepts returns within 14 days of delivery. Saddles are eligible for return within 5 days of delivery.
To start a return, please visit our Returns Portal.
All returned items must arrive back in the same condition received with original tags attached.
Items returned outside the eligible return window, without original tags, or showing signs of wear, damage, laundering, or excessive use may not qualify for a refund. In some cases, items may be eligible for reconsignment instead. For reconsignment inquiries, please contact mckenna@triedequestrian.com.
Return Options
You have the option for a return to the original payment method, exchange or store credit. Exchanges and store credit receive a 5% bonus. Please note, original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our end or an item arrives not as described.
Refund to Original Payment Method
Eligible returns may be refunded back to the original payment method used at checkout.
Store Credit (receive 5% bonus)
Customers may choose store credit instead of a refund and receive an additional 5% bonus added to their store credit amount.
Store credit is issued as a digital gift card and can be used immediately once the return is approved through the Returns Portal.
Exchange (receive 5% bonus)
Customers may exchange eligible items for another product available on our website.
If the new item is higher in price, an invoice for the difference will be emailed. If the new item is lower in price, the remaining balance will be issued as store credit.
Item Issues
If your item arrived differently than expected, please submit a request through our Returns Portal and our team will work to make it right.
Return Shipping
At checkout, customers have the option to purchase Return Protection for $2.98.
Customers who purchase Return Protection will receive a prepaid return shipping label at no additional cost if a return is needed.
Customers who choose not to purchase Return Protection may still return eligible items within the return window, but will be responsible for purchasing the return shipping label through our Returns Portal.
Return Protection is non-refundable once an order has been placed.
Processing Times
Returns are typically processed within 5–7 business days after arrival at our facility.
Refunds
Once processed, refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear on the original payment method depending on your financial institution.
Store Credit
Store credit is typically issued immediately once the return is approved through the Returns Portal.
Exchanges
Exchange orders will ship once the original return has been received and any remaining balance has been paid
