excellent

This item is practically new! It shows no obvious signs of being worn or washed.

very good

This item shows no major flaws. There may be light fading or pilling in areas such as the knees, seams, and hems. Hardware may also have light scratches.

good

This item has been worn but is still in good condition. There may be minor signs of wear such as small holes (maximum two), light pilling, fading, or stains.

flawed gem

This item has visible flaws that may require repair but still has life left in it. It may also be from a best-selling brand and eligible for resale due to high demand.

Shipping Information

We offer several different shipping options from USPS and UPS. Shipping rates are determined by weight and your location.

* Same Day Shipping for orders placed by 1pm. Later orders may be delayed to the following business day.

Domestic Orders:

  • Orders over $249 receive free shipping
  • Orders under $249 are charged discounted market rates provided by each carrier.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery dates, they are approximations

International Orders:

  • Shipping Pries are calculated at checkout
  • Duties and taxes are assessed by customs and are the responsibility of the customer 
  • International shipping rates are determined by weight and location

Please note for California residents:

  • We only collect the CA tax rate of 7.25%. You are responsible to pay any district taxes or use taxes above 7.25% on the item. If you are located in Los Angeles county you are subject to an additional 2% charge for our district tax rate of 9.25%. Please see Regulation 1823.4.

Return Policy

ACCEPTED RETURNS & RETURN WINDOW

**We have extended our return window for the holidays. Have returns in the mail by January 5th for our normal return procedure to apply. This excludes saddles that will maintain a regular 5-day return window.

The Tried Equestrian (TTE) gladly accept requests for a return within 2 weeks of the date of delivery to the customer. Return requests must be emailed to mckenna@triedequestrian.com. The item(s) must arrive back in the same condition sent with the initial tags attached.

If you are requesting a return outside of this window, the item does not have original tags, has been damaged, or has excessive use no refund will be given. However, the item may be eligible for reconsignment. You can reach out to The Tried Equestrian at mckenna@triedequestrian.com for details.

RETURN OPTIONS (excluding saddles)

1. Refunded back to the payment used (Paypal, ShopPay or credit card) - a $10 return fee is applied to cover the return shipping expense if a Tried Equestrian provided prepaid return label is used.

2. Store Credit - Waived $10 fee for the return shipping label and we will email you a gift card (we put up 100's of items weekly so we're bound to get something in you'll love)!

3. Exchange - Waived $10 fee for return shipping. An invoice will be emailed for the price difference if the exchange is for a more expensive item and will be allowed one week to pay the difference. If unpaid, the order will be refunded back the way it was paid, less a $10 restocking fee. A gift card for the difference will be issued if the exchange is for a less expensive item.

4. Issues - If your item did not arrive as expected, email us and we will work to resolve the situation in the most convenient way for you!

RETURN PROCESS (excluding saddles)

You will be emailed a prepaid return label and return form. You may also purchase your own shipping label at your expense.
If you use the emailed prepaid shipping label, $10 will be deducted from your return when your item is processed to cover the cost of the return shipment.

The Tried Equestrian offers a 5 day trial period for saddles from the date of delivery. Return requests must be emailed to TTE within the 5 day window. Return requests must be emailed to contact@triedequestrian.com. The saddle(s) must arrive back in the same condition sent with the initial tags attached.
